Waliullah Bhuiyan

Considered as one of the most innovative education entrepreneurs, Waliullah Bhuiyan brings his international experience and leadership skill into classroom for School Leaders and Teachers equally. He is the Founder & CEO of Light of Hope Ltd. He has worked with hundreds of schools, organizations, school leader and teachers across Bangladesh. He thrives in School Leadership, Creative Content Development for Children, and Bringing innovation into school by introducing Future Skills for children.

Tahmina Rahman

Tahmina Rahman is Programme Head Of Kids Time- Bangladesh’s only after-school program brand initiated by Light of Hope. She brings her hands-on experience in developing creative content and curriculum development to ensure 21st century skills among school children. She is internationally recognized for her amazing children’s content that are being used by hundreds of schools in more than 30 countries.

Quazi Sharmin Ahammad Easha

Engaged as Senior Manager-Education, Light of Hope. She is also working as Guest lecturer of Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka. Apart from these, she is also working as the member of Bangladesh Education Forum. Previously, she worked as a Deputy Program Manager-Education in Save the Children supported Shishuder Jonno Program in Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS).

She did his Graduation and Masters from Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka. She worked for different national and international organizations and was involved in different research studies that influenced the national education system especially pre-primary and primary education. As national consultant, she worked with UNICEF, WHO, PLAN International, Room to Read, World Bank and so on. As trainer, she conducted training to more than 10,000 Principals, teachers, supervisors, and parents.

Easha Apa

Prof. M. Nazmul Haq

Prof. M. Nazmul Haq is a prominent figure in Bangladesh in the area of teacher capacity development, special and inclusive education, child counseling and psychotherapy.

He is a Professor of Education in the Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of Dhaka and served the University for last 23 years. Before joining University, he served in the Ministry of Education as Research Officer for 10 years. Besides his regular teaching, he worked as consultant and team leader in various research projects under UN bodies, international NGOs and national organizations. He worked as members of various national committees related to curriculum, research and material development.

Mahmuda Akhter

Ms. Mahmuda Akhter has been a trainer since 1994. Over her career, she provided training to 20,000+ professionals. She is also a member of National ECCD Technical Committee under Ministry of Women and Children Affairs. She is a Member of Management Board of Bangladesh Shishu Academy.

She was the founding Head of ECD Resource Centre at BRAC Institute of Educational Development, BRAC University from 2005 to 2011. She was also a member of Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC) Steering Committee (2008-2016).

Shaheen Akhter

Shaheen Akter has 25 years of experience in the ECD and education sector with international experience working in countries like Tanzania and Uganda. She serves in BRAC and BRAC University more than 25 years in different positions including those of Assistant Director of a Professional Development Center, Senior Research Fellow, Education faculty, Team lead of a professional group.

As national consultant she worked with UNICEF, DFID, UNESCO, USAID and World Bank etc. As trainer, she conducted training to more than 1000 teachers, supervisors, and parents. She did her M.Phil in Multicultural and International Education from Oslo Univeristy College, Norway and did her M.Ed in Guidance and Counseling in 1993 from IER, Dhaka University.

Anjuman Parvin

Anjuman Parvin Ovi is an Early Childhood Development Specialist, Special Education Consultant, Parenting Expert and Mental Health Practitioner. She has 12 years of experience in the field of Child Development & Education. She started Learning Support Center, Heaven Education Services in 2014 for children with special needs. Currently, she is leading three inclusive preschools and developmental daycare centers in three different areas of Dhaka.

She did her Bachelor’s in Education and M.Sc in Early Childhood Development. She has specialized training in Special Education, Learning Disability Management, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sensory Integration, Play Therapy, Speech and Language Delay Management, Healing Trauma through Kinesthetic Storytelling and Effective Parenting.
